Dr. Daniel Herrera
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Panama and holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education from the Latin University of Panama.
Subsequently, he specialized in Oral Rehabilitation at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. During his tenure there, he completed a supervised teaching practicum within the undergraduate clinical program at the Faculty of Dentistry, specifically focusing on the adult dental clinic. In his final year of residency, he was awarded third place in the poster presentation category at the National Congress of the Colombian Association of Prosthodontics, a prestigious competition involving all postgraduate programs in the country.
Driven by a commitment to shaping future dental professionals, he currently serves as a faculty member for the Doctor of Dental Surgery programs at both the University of Panama and the Inter-American University of Panama. In these roles, he teaches theoretical coursework and serves as a clinical tutor in the comprehensive adult dentistry program.
He is an active member of the Panamanian Dental Association and the Colombian Association of Prosthodontics.
