Dr. Rodolfo Epifanio

He graduated from the University of Panama School of Dentistry in 1997, where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In the year 2001-2002, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education at the University of the Americas, in Panama City.

From 2002 to 2003 he was a Resident in General and Hospital Dentistry at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry; and from 2003 to 2006, he obtained an oral medicine residency at Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Dentistry, United States of America.

It is worth noting that Dr. Epifanio, during his stay in Louisiana, was Chief Resident at the Center for Medical Sciences Oral Medicine Residency. Also, an undergraduate clinical instructor, and also in 2005, he was a volunteer dentist caring for victims of Hurricane Katrina, with the American Red Cross, Louisiana Chapter in Alexandria.

He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Dentistry of the Latin American University of Science and Technology.

Since August 1999, he has been in private practice in general dentistry for the treatment of medically compromised patients, diagnosis and management of oral mucosa and orofacial pain in Panama City.

From March 2000 to the present, he works as Assistant Professor, Department of Dentistry at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Panama and Postgraduate Program in Periodontics.
